I guess this is the best living example here since we have regional
"dejt" or "de$t" where the consonant "j" is used instead of normal "$".
I know the usual explanation of "ge" > "j" after the Slavs came.
If my assumption is right then the sound "$" is the sound which was
there as Albanian developed later to "gj". I will like to proove if in
Alb. this "gj-" is indeed present just in roots which have /se/si/sy/
there where Alb. today reflect an "gj-"
