Thanks for this info. I was wondering what this work was about.

About the files. I think 2.7 mb per file is larger than it need be. I found
that if I save one of these files under a different name in a viewer such as
Irfanview the jpg file shrinks to about 600 kb (less than a quarter of the
size) and there is no difference in the 150 dpi resolution.

I received the complete Nyaasa etext file from Ven. U Nandisena yesterday.
This is the one that was on the late Ven. U Silananda's computer which he
himself edited. It appears to be in very good shape as it is but the editing
is not quite finished. I'm waiting to hear back from Ven. U Nandisena on
whether I can share this file with the group. The problem is that the
editing still remains unfinished and editors or translators don't seem to
like having their unfinished work distributed without their consent. He
has also raised concerns about his unfinished translation of Kaccaayana's
grammar.

I will be busier than usual over the coming days as I prepare to head back
to the cottage on April Fool's Day. This is where I'll be spending most of
my time until mid-December. Like last year, I will probably be cutting back
on my involvement with emails and cyberspace and tune in more to my
immediate surroundings, studying Pali, and sitting quietly.

Best wishes,
Jim
