Dear Ong,
Thank you for your courteous messages.
Our only aim is to make the Tipitaka and other Pali books available to
scholars who otherwise have no or limited access to the books. I don't
see anything unwholesome and disharmonious in that and I don't think
that anyone will be affected negatively by it. The printed books are
mostly used for adorning Sri Lankan monastery libraries.
The publisher, the government of Sri Lanka, has no commercial interest
in these books. As I wrote already, it is very difficult, or impossible,
to order the books from Sri Lanka even if one has the money.
