These are examples from verse.  But what i am really looking for is examples in prose.

From what little I've read of it, there's plenty of alliteration in Old Norse. If you have Gordon's book on Old Norse, you'll find these opening lines on page 136:
 
Vrei� vas �� Ving-�orr          es vakna�i
ok s�ns hamars                of sakna�i
 
'Wrath was Thor who swings the hammer              he is awake
and his hammer                                                he feels the loss of
 
The alliteration here is on the 'v' sounds in the first line and on the 's' sounds in the second.
 
Repetition also comes into this poem later on  when the giant Thrym says:
 
'Hvat's me� �sum       hvat's me� �lfum?'
'What's with the Aesir         What's with the elves?'
 
And Loki replies
 
'Ilt's me� �sum                 ilt's me� �lfum'
'It is ill with the Aesir          it is ill with the elves'
