You said you can speak/read French,so tomes 1 et 2 : Equals 2 volumes.I suppose 1+ 1 = 2 (in your language too).Arabic experts told me :WEHR, 1961, A Dictionary of Modern Written Arabic,Wiesbaden, Harrassowitzis a good reference for -modern- ArabicIt seems there exists no equivalent of Kazimirski'stranslation of Lisan and Qamus in English. It is little wonder you can't get all the meanings. So Ryan, I re-suggest you work with efficient tools, unstead of yelling you have not found them. Now, as for examples,I suggest you open an English dictionary. You will probably notice that it gives "meanings"not examples.Kazimirski gives "meanings", syntactic classesand basic derivational paradigms.I hope you are capable of understandingthat my references are best-in-classbut do not provide examples.I am expecting a big surprise :that you finally could understand my mail. That can be your good deed of the day. Please try hard.I mean harder than usual.Arnaud Fournet
