Such a prothetic vowel is unlikely - in my opinion - precisely because of
potential confusion with atlas = "not enduring", a word actually found in
Greek. If the name existed as Tlas, it would not readily be turned into a
parody of itself. Besides, initial tl- is not a problem in Greek.
