you keep the hungarian "draga" for a Hungarian word? I guess this is
seen as slavic and this is a panslavic word, isn't it?
rus: dorog, serb. drag would speak for south & north slavic.

In rom. "drag" means just "dear" but never expensive.
"scump" means dear and expensive.
Interesting in Rom. "scump" has the meaning of "miserly" too.
scump la vorba = one who doesn't speak too much.
