Also Younger Avestan ars^a-, Munji (a Pamir language) yars^ -- a regular reflex of *r.s^a- (as is the Ossetic word), where *-s^- < *-k^s- < *-tk^- . Even if the odd New Persian word is excluded, Iranian evidence appears decisive.

Footnote: there have been attempts to add Lith. irs^tva 'lair' to the set.
