SV: Tell el Dab'a - latest finds

Hi!

The weapon is an early version of a "sickle-sword", a weapon type that was
widely used in the near east (but not in the Aegean) during the bronze age.
It evolved from an adze-like weapon and oddly enough seems to have been the
main type of slashing weapon in the near east up to c. 1200 BC (a later
model was found in Tutankamun's tomb).

It may actually be part of the explanation for the success of the Sea
Peoples since it must have been a greatly inferior weapon compared to the
real swords used in the Aegean and the Balkans.
