It was my contribution (such as it was) to the Salt Lake City's
sesquicentennial. (A Deseret Book of Mormon was officially published
by the LDS Church in 1869. It was a flop at the time but has become
quite a collector's item. A good copy will run something like
$10,000 on eBay.)

Well, the Deseret transcriptions of Hopi were done by amateurs, so
one might have to take them with a grain of salt. And there are no
other contemporary records of Hopi pronunciations, so there's nothing
to compare it with directly, but from what I understand it looks like
a reasonably accurate transcription.
