What is a work for hire? Each section is hired by you? The book itself
is hired by OUP?

I am certain that at the very least OUP will have a copyright in the
collection of papers.

The only place that is definitive in these questions is the contract
that you and the other authors have with OUP. Beyond that, ownership
discussions here are mere speculation and off topic.

I don't think it is appropriate to discuss that here, and it is off
topic from the thread anyway.
It is inappropriate to discuss business matters in more detail then that.

Roughly speaking, seeking out ways that information and other
intellectual property can be packaged in ways that add value for the
interested parties.

Again, sorry for the vagueness, but I don't want to sound like a
commercial here because that is not the purpose of the forum at all. And
I doubt that you are likely to ever become a client anyway based on past
interactions with me here. But I never say never, just being realistic.

Any additional inquiries on this matter should be done privately please.

Best,

Barry
