I love this list! I make no pretensions about much formal
education (one term at Princeton), yet expect to learn a lot.

I do value civilization quite highly, and it's almost(?) a
privilege to be here. (But, I must try to stay on topic!)

Just discovered the Qalam reference material; nice start, and
I see that Seshat contributed a lot of it. (Seshat's portrait
was amusing, of an instantly-recognizable category.)
