Dear Chris,
Thanks. I was earlier told that the second a is long and that it should
be Sayaa.do. This is also how it sounded to me but I would need to hear
it again from a Burmese monk to be sure.
The transliteration as given in the collection of books by the Ledi
Sayadaw included in the VRI edition of the Chattha Sangayana is Le.di
Sayaa.do, i.e. Le.di Sayaa.do Gantha-Sa''ngaho.
To come back to Ven. Yuttadhammo's point: At the end of his
Paccayuddesadiipanii he states that this work was made by the mahaathera
residing at the Le.di forest monastery in the town of Mau.mjvaa in the
country of Burma.
Mrammaraṭṭhe mauṃjvānagare leḍītīaraññavihāravāsinā mahā therena katāyaṃ
paccayuddesadīpanī

Bh Nt
