Dear bhante,
I am at the moment uncertain about the phonology of vehap-phala that is
related to, if not derived from Sanskrit b.rhat-phala. As I see it, the only
problem is the treatment of b.r > ve.
Abhidharmako.sa II 41 explains the cosmological context.
