Dhammapadaṃ, 1. Yamakavaggo (The Pairs), Verse 17
idha tappati pecca tappati | pāpakārī ubhayattha tappati ||
pāpaṃ me katanti tappati | bhiyyo tappati duggatiṃ gato || 17 ||
17. Here he suffers, having passed away he suffers,
the evil-doer suffers in both places.
He suffers, (thinking) "I have done evil", he suffers all the more
gone to a bad rebirth.

P.S. a correction for the post on Dhp 16: the verse number of Norman's
translation shoulld have been "16.", not "15." -- my mistake.
