Dhammapadaṃ, 1. Yamakavaggo (The Pairs), Verse 16

idha modati pecca modati | katapuñño ubhayattha modati ||
so modati so pamodati | disvā kammavisuddhimattano || 16 ||

15. Here he rejoices, having passed away he rejoices,
          the one who has done merit rejoices in both places.
He rejoices, he exults seeing the purity of his own action.
