Dear Jim and Robert,
Just a curiosity at this point, I guess. Seems that
'bases' or 'grounds' would have been fine. Still not
the strangest (or most misleading) translation I've
run across--'name and form' for nama and rupa, for
example(!). Thanks for the hard look.
