Dear John,

This is a crude attempt for a beginner:

Lacking in understanding, those who are drifting on sensual flood are drawn into the dark destiny of samsaric whirlpool of recurrent becoming.

Metta,

Harry

ps. Thanks for your effort in creating Warder Vocab 1-22

Can anyone help me with the following difficult to translate verse
from the verses at the end of AN 5:55 (A iii 69)?

Tesa.m kaamoghavu.lhaana.m kaame aparijaanata.m,
Kaala.m gati.m bhavaabhava.m sa.msaarasmi.m purakkhataa.

Below is my stumbling effort at a word-by-word analysis:
tesa.m - those
kaamoghavu.lhaana.m - carried away on the flood of sensual pleasure
kaama – sensual pleasure
ogha - flood
vu.lhaana.m – carried away
kaame – sensual pleasures
aparijaanata.m – not fully understanding
kaala.m – black, dark
gati.m - destination
bhavaabhava.m - becoming and not-becoming ??
bhava - becoming
abhava.m - not-becoming
sa.msaarasmi.m – in sa.msaara
purakkhataa – honoured, preferred

I can't put the whole thing together though. All assistance greatly
appreciated.

With metta,
John
