Hello all,

First I would like to say that I appreciate greatly this wonderful
forum. It is amazing to have a community which can support the study
of Pali and Dhamma to people from different places in the world. Since
I do not have anyone to consult with in my country on this issues, I
feel blessed to have you as my teachers and mentors.

My question this time is about the different terms
for "insight", "understanding" and "wisdom" in the suttas. Why are
there sll these different terms, such as pannaa, vipassanaa,
sammaadit.th.i, naan.a etc.? Do they all refer to the same insight, or
to different types of knowledge?
