Hello all,
I have created a pali "Wiki-space" as an extension of the E-sangha Pali
forum that I moderate. It is intended for beginner Pali students to try out
their newly acquired skills by translating Pali both directions. There is
also a "slow motion Pali chat" where Ven. Yuttadhammo and I have so far been
discussing Dukkha (imagine that).
Anyway, the idea is that beginners can make mistakes, but people with more
advanced knowledge can come through and edit things explaining where
mistakes were made, etc.
Even though it was created as an un-official extension to the E-Sangha Pali
Forum, it is, of course, available for use by anyone here too.
I simply recommend signing up for the free wiki-space account so that when
you make changes to the site, your "username" will be visible. This will
help us keep a feeling of community. My username is "ESanghaPali" and Ven.
Yuttadhammo's is "Yuttadhammo."
The site is:
http://esangha-pali.wikispaces.org/
If you would like to make a change to the site, but don't feel that you have
a handle on how to do so, just e-mail me privately with the idea. So far,
it is fairly bare-bones.
Metta, and I hope to see some of you at the Pali Wiki-space,
Alan
