Dear Yong Peng,
I have a feeling that we cannot compare the Pali and English notions of
transitive and intransitive. The same for nahati to bathe in a river. But I
agree, it is not easy.Maybe we should forget about the English, and only
think in Pali if we can.
Maybe we need more examples of transitive and intransitive in Pali. I would
like to learn more.
