Re: .m or "m

I have a simple, somewhat unorthodox, way of remembering the nasals:

I prefer m with superior dot (against the grain of wisdom of the scholars), since it
is cognate with the nasal n with a superior dot.

The inferior dot as we know generally applies to the cerebrals.

Anyway no one will be shot or bombed or fatwaed against if one chooses either
convention. Reminds me of how Lilliput and Brobdingnag went to war over which end of
the egg to crack to eat it! It's good Buddhists are tolerant of differences.
