It's likely that you already know this, but for anyone on the list who
can use a little help keeping the ongoing conversations straight,
using a threaded mail reader (I think that several of the Linux/Unix
ones do this now, as well as the Mozilla mail suite, whatever name it
has now) can be a big help. Google's Gmail also does this for webmail
users; I've found it much easier to follow along since moving my list
subscription to Gmail. Subject lines changing can cause some
problems, but it gives a little more of a threaded/message board feel
to the list.
Personally, I prefer the mailing list to a bulliten board beacuse it
reduces the number of websites I have to visit in one day. Having the
Pali discussions coming to a mail account that I'm using means that
I'm much more likely to be able to follow along and post.
