yes, Prof. Mizuno is still alive, and he did not stop writing until
last year. His last published work was on the comparison of the
various versions of Dhammapada in 1995, and his last book was titled
(loosely translated as) The Buddha's Education System for Mankind,

His Pali Grammar has been translated into Chinese by Xu Yang (or Y.
Xu), though his Pali Dictionary isn't. But, both (the Grammar in
Chinese and the Dictionary in Japanese) are used in courses in
