here is paragraph 9 of Aggikkhandhopama Sutta:
"Ta.m ki.m maññatha, bhikkhave katama.m nu kho vara.m

"What do you think, monks? Which is better?
ya.m balavaa puriso tattena ayopa.t.tena aadittena sampajjalitena
sajotibhuutena kaaya.m sampalive.theyya,
whether / strong / man / hot / with iron plate / burning / blazing /
glowing / body / (if) would wrap
If a strong man were to wrap (his) body with hot iron plate that is
burning, blazing and glowing?
* tatta (adj., p.p. of tapati) heated, hot, glowing.
* ayopa.t.tena (ins. of ayopa.t.ta) with iron plate (PED pa.t.ta).
* sampalive.theyya (optative of sampalive.theti) if he would wrap up.
ya.m vaa khattiya-mahaasaalaana.m vaa braahma.na-mahaasaalaana.m vaa
gahapati-mahaasaalaana.m vaa saddhaadeyya.m ciivara.m
paribhuñjeyyaa"ti?
that / or / of rich kshatriyas / or / of rich brahmins / or / of rich
householders / or / given in faith / robe / would enjoy / (end-quote)
Or, to derive enjoyment from the robe given in faith by rich
kshatriyas, brahmins or householders?"
* saddhaadeyya (adj.) a gift in faith (PED saddhaa).
* ciivara (n.) monk's robe.
* paribhuñjeyya (optative of paribhuñjati) if he would enjoy, use.
"Etadeva, bhante, vara.m
this / venerable Sir / better
"This, venerable Sir, is surely better:
ya.m khattiya-mahaasaalaana.m vaa
pe
saddhaadeyya.m ciivara.m
paribhuñjeyya,
that / from rich kshatriyas / or /
and so on

robe / would enjoy
To derive enjoyment from the robe given in faith by rich kshatriyas,
brahmins or householders.

for it would be painful / venerable Sir / that which / strong / man /

For it would be painful, venerable Sir, that a strong man were to
