Dear Yong Peng,

The translation presented is not correct English, I'm afraid. The
nouns: cloth, clothes, clothing are somewhat irregular in English,
and understandably a problem for non-native speakers. There is no
singular noun "clothe" in English, despite the presence of its
plural equivalent. [There is, however, a verb "to clothe".]

I would suggest instead, either "Sewing an article of clothing to
give the son, I sang a song", or more fluently perhaps, "Sewing a
garment to give to my son, I sang a song."

Metta,
