I don't understand your logic here. Ven. Buddhaghosa clearly says
about first jhana.

In this passage there is no mention of jhana. It is inserted by
translator. And even if there were mention of jhana, Visuddhimagga
tika is much less authoritative than Suttas, Atthakattha and Visuddhimagga
itself.
