Dear friends

There is a common phrase in pali canon: '...nivaasetvaa pattaciivaram aadaaya....'. I found Bodhi bhikkhu always translated it into English as: '...dressed, and taking bowl and robe,.... '. However, the equivalent of this phrase in Chinese Agama seems to be '...wearing robe and taking bowl...'. They may be both correct in temrs of grammar, but they seem to convey differetnt ideas. I thought maybe the chinese translation is more proper because after all, bhikkhu in ancient time should only have one suit of robe. However, I am not sure. Any comment is appreciated.
