I think this is so real. Life is only in one moment, and the next moment
there can be cuti citta, immediately followed by pa.tisandhi citta. Good for
marana sati.
Now looking at my Thai Co: two readings:
1. citta is hetu.
2. It proceeds according to the order of cittas.
According to 1: one is deva or being in a hell plane by citta that is the
hetu, the cause.
2: is like the footnote above. One is deva, being in a hell plane, or
animal, because of pa.tisandhicitta, which is the second citta (following
citta) after the cuti-citta (the first one).
