A short note on revision of the cognate referencing method I use.
Previously I would use the following referencing, say, for the
Kaccaana,gotta Sutta, as
S 2:17=12.15 [that is, Sa.myutta vol. 2 page 17 is the same as sa.myutta
12, sutta 15]
However, there is a problem when relating to other identical passages, for
example, this same sutta appears in S 3:134 (S vol. 3 page 134).
So I have changed the system to accomodate this problem:
S 2:17/12.15=3:134.
In other words, I have adopted the virgule or slash to show a cognate
reference, and the equal sign to designate an identical passage elsewhere.
