Here´s my translation. I try to translate as literally as possible in order to help others make sense of the grammar and syntax of the original, if they need it. My method of showing where my translation differs from others, is to highlight those words or phrases in the text within my own translation which differ from others´translations. I then insert a brief note on why I have chosen my particular interpretation, usually with a reference to Zoega´s dictionary to support my interpretation.
