I wrote a post that never made it, correcting and adding to this that I
wrote yesterday. I recall citing the attested women's name dottir (long
o), from Swedish inscription, and correcting attested fem. Maer's
declension from Old Swedish to ON, our standard here, thus: Maer, mey,
meyju, meyjar. I wrote a support piece for the unattested feminines of
the tribal-names, going into details of pholology, declension, etc.,
and for the 2 feminines from oral tradition, Elfa and Ylfa, which ended
in that I accepted both as very certainly ON. More on that later, as I
