Just wondering if I could get some help with regards to a couple of words.

 

I am looking for a few words or the single most appropriate word that would cover the meaning of the word 'intense'. If anyone could give me a few suggestions, that would be great and I will take it from there.

 

Also, old norse insults, no matter how vulger, rude or so on, I would be interested to know a few such terms, as I am unsure how the old norse would have even insulted their enemies, on what characteristics they considered insulting etc. Any guidance on either of these queries would be most appreciative.
