questions in fact in the last piece of the Translation We
were doing there were a band of men whom Hrafnkell
took to the "Thing" the Council Meeting Place, or place of Assembly well they
were called Hrafnkells "Thingmen" and no doubt they would have been
a choice group of men suited to bear
Arms.

norse term to describe a group or company of people. Perhaps something like a
