I'm in a Creative Writing class, and I was thinking about writing my
next short story about Vikings and Norsemen, or maybe making a new
myth. In any case, I was hoping that someone here might be able to
tell me a few words from the language that I could include in hopes of
better portraying the culture.
I'm not looking for anything really elaborate, just a few small
phrases like "Shoot!", "Impressive", "Jerk!", "Hello/Goodbye, my
friend", "No way!", "Not Again", etc. Please, please, please help. I
don't personally know anybody who speaks Old Norse.
