The Wends are at least three slawic tribes which lived in the area of east-Germany (the former GDR).
The Obotriedes in the north, the Lutitzen in the middle (around Berlin)and the Sorbes in the south (EastThuringia and Saxonia).
The Jomsvikings came from the Islands near the Oder-mouth
Wollin (Poland) and Usedom (Germany).
