Just because is similar,yes:
- both from a phonetic bHVs-
- as from a semnatic point of view 'bHVs-' 'a swollen limb of the body
(we have: bosom limb, genital limb, foot limb, abdominal limb - quite enough references)

Even *bHos-od- has this issue .. bHVs- inside is obvious....
