Torsten, I forgot to say that this is what Ingmar Roerdinkholder had
to say about what you said in Dutch (2 separate posts combined):
"Hah, now I get it, one of them had a Scottish accent in English?
Smart guy, that Torsten."
"Hei Andrew,
Torsten's Nederlandisch is good to forsta, doch hae makede enig falte:
"Hooi" should be "hoi" = hi. Hooi = hay ;-)
"diskuteren" should be "bediscussiëren"
"diskuteerden"should be "bediscussieerden"
"problem" should be "probleem"
should be "een ruzie hebben gehad over waar jij en je zus vandaan..."
so without "erover"
"overtuigt" should be "overtuigd" with D = convinced
"bewijsen" should be "bewijzen" with Z = prove
"de accent" should be "het accent"
"of wat" should be "of iets anders"
"alsjeblift" should be "alstjeblieft"
Doch ig tenke dat miin Danisch schalde wese wirklig nik better,
naturlig. For een uutlander, Torsten's Nederlandisch is mennig good.
Mid de hertlig groete af
Ingmar / Chamavian"

Auxiliary Language. You should be able to understand it.)
