IIRC it's presented as an exception, if any attention is paid to it.
Oddly, Brøndum-Nielsen, Dialekter og dialektforskning says of
Bornholmsk that /iu:/ > /jy/,/ji/ and outside anlaut further >
/y/,/i/, but has no such proviso for other dialects. His map 18, ODa.
iu, says 'generally /y/... , but /jy/ etc esp. after /t/ in 'tyr'
["bull"] etc' of Lolland-Falster, Ærø, and the Fjolde-mål, a now
extinct Danish dialect of Southern Slesvig.
