Sorry, there was a problem with the conversion of the fonts.
Read: "Ukrainian vátra."

The 'stove' meaning is simply the result of Starostin & Lubotsky's
resource being created through a machine-translation (later on
recognized) of Pokorny's dictionary. Thus, German Herd 'hearth,
fireside, cooker, stove (etc.)' becomes just 'a stove'... I should
have checked the original before posting my message! (Note: Some
other English terms appearing in S&L's machine-translations of
Pokorny's dictionary I have quoted today can be imprecise
translations of Pokorny's original German terms!)

I also wrote:

Here the same problem of font conversion occurred. Read: "Irish
áith."
