Yes, more or less, so what? The same region can be known under different
names. The <túrsis> connection, which we owe to Dionysius of
Halcarnassus (see Torsten's link) makes some sense in view of the fact
that the Etruscans built walled and many-towered towns, preferably
located on steep hills, so a name intended to mean 'the Tower Folk'
seems reasonable (but, then, so do most folk etymologies).
