But that's not where you'd find them. What Hubschmid at al. write
about is much earlier than the presence of Vandals at the
Mediterranean. If Vandal loans ecist there, you'd search for them in
other literature.

And there wouldn't be any Vandal loans in Spanish because the Vandals were only in Spain for about about 20 years at the most. They arrived in 409, the Goths followed in 416 or so and the Vandals moved to Africa in 429. The only thing they left that we know of was their name. If they left any other words, they would have been confused with Gothic or Suebian.
