Xavier Delamarre (in this DLG) seems to prefer the "Cauldron" etymology
for the Parisii - personally, I prefer the "do-ers/makers" (PIE *kWer-)
and would compare the name to MoWelsh perydd "one who causes or
occasions, creator, The Creator, lord, king".
