Thanks for the reference. I wasn't aware of it, which is a pity, since
it might have strengthened my argumentation. On the other hand, a
compound adjective like this may well contain *-gW[h2]-u-, with the
normal compositional loss (or at least non-vocalisation) of the laryngeal.
