Some (possible) dH(e)h1- verbal formation in Lithuanian

1. Lithuanian Frequentative Past Tense
-da-v-, plus the regular thematic endings of the simple past (= -au, -
ai, -o; -ome, -ote, -o),

bu:ti 'to be'
aš bu:davau 'I used to go'
tu bu:davai
jis bu:davo
mes bu:davome
ju:s bu:davote
jie bu:davo

eiti 'to go'
aš eidavau 'I used to go', etc.
tu eidavai
jis eidavo
jis eidavo
mes eidavome
ju:s eidavote
jie eidavo

2. Lithuanian Special Present Active Adverbial Participle in -damas, -
dama

matydamas 'in the act of seeing; while seeing' could be considered as
consisting of maty + da + m + as,

-> in which maty is the basic infinitive stem, -da- (= 'doing it')
-> + m-, a suffix like in the present passive participle (cf.
matomas)
-> and -as is the nominal/adjectival ending
