I consider Finno-Ugric has colonized the ob VAlley
Hungarian = upstream
UGric = mid-stream
To become Finno-Permic = downstream.
Finno-Permic invaded Eastern Europe
from the north of Urals.
Reason : Permic is one of the most
conservative form of Uralic
(unfortunately heavily influenced
by Tatar, so that many cognates
are lacking in Permic)

I have already explained I consider
Germanic to be a central-eastern
to eastern variety of PIE.

So we have a couple of possibilities
to "lodge" Germanic :
Ural River valley
Kama River valley
Petchura River valley
