Look, Vennemann does never bring "Berber" languages into the picture.
He clearly states that "the coastal regions between the western
Mediterranean and the Atlantic [are] the homeland of the Semitic
peoples" (see again the citation from Venneman's book included in my
message archived at

He says "Semitic", not "Semitidic" (unless this is not a case of
mistranslation).

A Semitic homeland in the Iberian peninsula and Algeria/Morocco?
Wasn't it in the Arabian peninsula and/or northeastern Africa? :^)
