*wogwh-ni `ploughshare'. 1. Alb umb `small plowshare on a wooden
plow', Tosk and Standard Albanian form, umi as Gheg variant, from
nasalized zero-grade form *ungwh-u, cf. for same formation Illyrian
lembus `light ship' from *lengwhos. 2a. Alb ugar `initial plowing;
plowed land and ready for planting; plowed (field), but not yet
planted' b. ugar i bardhë `farmland left fallow for a number of
years', ugar i zi `farmland left fallow for a year': Lat vo:mis:
`ploughshare': OHG waganso `ploughshare', OPrus wagnis `coulter', Grk
