"*accu(m) is by no way the part which will help you to have
Romanian "acel". In fact with the combination *accum +ille you cover
the whole Romance less Romanian. I know you admit the sincope of
the "u" here but there is no sincope since "acel" stands not alone
but it is sustained by "acolo". In fact this is not from Latin at all
but from IE *kWel and *kWol.
