What about the river name Gi:la > Zilja? (in Slovenia, cited as an important
example of 2nd palatalization)

And also OCS skQdoljI 'a piece of pottery' < Lat. scandula.

Ban'kowski in his "Etymologiczny sl/ownik je,zyka polskiego" (Etymological
Dictionary of the Polish Language) supposes that Slavic *korljU (-u- stem)
comes from the Latin/Romance derivate "(rex) Carlius, (rex) Carleus" 'a
successor of Charlemagne'.
